Just kidding. I'm just a bit busy to get around to more typical morning blogging so I'm drawing from memory here to plug a very good wine I recently tried.
The wine comes from Toad Hollow, home of the amusing toad-themed wine labels. It was a totally new one to me called Erik's the Red, a blend of fifteen(!!) different varietals from the Paso Robles area of Central California.

The wine is marketed as a "big, robust, and powerful." And in my tasting we can put a checkmark by all three. But what is surprisingly undermarketed about this wine is the flavor. Complex, and full of almost too many red-wine flavors to keep track of all at once. The tannins are mellow enough to drink without aging, but structured enough to stand up to the heartiest food. All of this for about twelve bucks. It's the equal or superior to many more elite Napa labels in the 20-30 dollar range without question. This might be the most impressive red wine for the dollar I have had this year.

I completely agree that it drinks like a @20+ bottle of wine. It remindes me of the Bonny Doone : Big House Red. http://www.bonnydoonvineyard.com/wine/view/93
Btw, i like the blog.
