In Praise of Laura
Considering that I have drilled Laura Ingraham more often than not for being a hack, and also considering I'm not ready to post anything just now, I've got to give the big L some props for this smackdown of Heather "I Hate Sarah Palin" Parker.
Hey, I said right from the start that Sarah Palin IS inexperienced. But the fashionable insider conservative sneer about Sarah Palin is already old and pitiful. Any such sneer unaccompanied by a matching sneer against the inexperience and emptiness of Barack Obama is simply opportunistic grasping for free publicity from the Obama-adoring mainstream press. Laura Ingraham quite openly calls out Heather Parker on this point, and leaves her stuttering repeatedly trying to rationalize herself.
If I can pick on Laura when she's bad, I ought to laud her when she's good. And this is approaching awesome.
